At Falconhead.....
Brown and White Pelicans, Song Birds, Woodpeckers, Ducks,
Geese, Herons, Owls, and many types of Sparrows, Orioles, Insect-
eating Birds, including the Mississippi Kites abound at Falconhead.

Over 100 types of birds have been ‘twitched’ here.  We have the
natural environment to provide many species of birds food and
shelter.  Many raptors, such as Bald Eagles, Prairie Falcons, Kestrel
and Peregrine Falcons, Red Tailed Hawks, Red Shoulder Hawks,
Sharp-shinned Hawks, Swainson Hawks, Coopers Hawks and Harris
Hawks have been identified.

Falconhead is located in the flyway of many  migratory birds.  We will
send out  notices to our members when we expect migratory
flyovers.

Walking trails and campsites are available.  Come visit Falconhead
for a fantastic 'nature' experience.

Falconhead has set aside additional acres of land to make a
sanctuary for birds and a nature trail.  We will install natural plants
and trees that provide food and shelter to attract additional types of
birds, thus growing our over 100 types that now thrive at
Falconhead.
