Special Board of Directors Meeting Minutes
Monday, September 10, 2007
4:45 p.m. - Administration Building

President Jim Marsh called the meeting to order at 4:45PM.  

Members Present:
  President Dr. Jim Marsh, Vice- President- Ms. Maxine Hartman, Treasurer-Mr. Pete Dowling, Secretary-Ms. Helen Hege, Asst. Secretary- Mr. Carl Beauchamp and Member - Mr. Kenny Bush.

Also Attending:
Mr. G. Tim Armstrong and Mr. Gary D. Rader.

Absent:
Mr. Todd McGilton-Member
There was a lengthy discussion as to the raising of maintenance fees on Vacant Lots, Condo's, Homes, Town Houses and Patio Homes.

The following motion was made by Mr. Dowling and seconded by Ms. Hartman.

The base maintenance fee on all Homes (of any kind), Condo's, Town Houses and Patio Homes would go from $50.00 per month to $75.00 per month beginning January 1, 2008 and then increased from $75.00 per month to $100.00 per month beginning January 1, 2009.  Beginning January 1, 2010 a cost of living increase would go into effect.  From that point forward each year based on the cost of living index that comes out each April of the preceding year.  The first cost of living increase would be based on the cost of living increase that comes out in April 2009.  This increase would have a maximum increase of 5% and would round to the closest .50 cent figure.  This measure will be presented to the entire membership for a vote at a special meeting tentatively planned for Saturday, November 10, 2007.

Motion passed 6 to 0.

There was no further business.  Motion to adjourn was made by Ms. Hartman.  Seconded by Ms. Hege.
